  • Before you attempt to log into Cisco Clean Access, ensure that your wireless card is enabled.
  • You must have DHCP enabled on your wireless connection (also called "Obtain an IP address automatically").
  • Windows users must install a piece of software called Cisco Clean Access Agent on their computer to log on.
  • Administrative access is required to install the agent and patches, if you do not have admin access you may download and install this piece of software to allow you to download and install the CCA agent and patches.

    Cisco Clean Access Agent Installation Instructions

    Step 1: Open a web browser and visit a website. The browser will send you to a login page to start the installation process.



    Step 2: Type in your Cal Poly username and password (same as my.calpoly.edu), and click "Continue". You will be prompted to for download the CCA Agent. Click on the button to begin downloading the CCA Agent.



    Step 3: You will be asked to save or open the file. Choose to "Open" the file.



    Step 4: A welcome page will pop up to start the installation process. Click the next button to progress through the installation. All settings for the installation should already be set to the proper selections for a normal set up.

    This Completes the one time installation of the Cisco Clean Access Agent.




    Normal Login
    1. With the Cisco CLean Access Agent already installed, your computer should display a login screen when it detects Cal Poly's Wireless network.
    2. Enter your Cal Poly username and password (same my.calpoly.edu) and click "Login" to access the wireless network.
    3. After Logging in you will have access to the campus network and the Internet.
